what is your riding level? - humour

ever been asked to declare your riding level
and not been sure how to classify yourself?

one of my previous riding instructors
- now a Fellow of the British Horse Society (FBHS)

was invited by a family member to a very well known,

high profile riding centre
(in Scotland - I'll leave you to work out which one...)

they very much catered for corporate clients,

often the partners of businesspeople attending the hotel and conference centre

she was asked to fill in the usual disclaimer and declaration of riding level and experience
they however had cunningly foreseen this VERY problem...
so the form asked....
are you:
  • a beginner     - never ridden
  • a novice        - ridden 0-5 times
  • intermediate  - ridden 5-10 times
  • or advanced   - ridden more than 10 times
as she'd been round Badminton that year...
she decided that she could safely tick advanced!
so now you know how to assess your riding level ....
NOTE:
my own disclaimer -
I do not for one moment suggest anyone use these definitions 'for real' !!!!!
